The CentriFlow Type I meter can be used for any flowable solid. As an open style meter, it is a particularly good fit for processes with delicate products or for processes with very little vertical space.
The CentriFlow line of mass flow meters configured in the Reverse Flow orientation can be used for a variety of applications and for a wide range of flow rates, densities, products and particle sizes. While most products and applications fit comfortably into the ranges of the standard CentriFlow Meter, several variations of the Type I Meter are also available, making a CentriFlow Meter for nearly every application.

The CentriFlow standard Type I Meter is perfect for measuring nearly any free-flowing, materials such as granules, pellets or even chips or snack foods and is specifically designed to be installed directly after feed devices such as belts or vibratory conveyors.
The CentriFlow LDM Meter is a specially designed version of the CentriFlow Meter which is perfect for measuring low-density materials (with densities less than 10 lb/ft3) or larger, bulky products such as tobacco leaves, wood chips, leafy vegetables, etc.
The CentriFlow HDM Meter is a specially designed mass flow meter designed for high density products flowing at extreme flow rates. The HDM Meter is great for applications including the processing of ores and minerals from mines, the rapid loading and unloading of railcars, trucks or shipping containers or anywhere flow rates, bulk densities or both are exceptionally high.
The CentriFlow CFL Meter is a bulk solids mass flow meter specially designed for very low flow rates that can be as low as 100 lb/hr. The Type I version of the CFL is great for both free flowing as well as powdery products and is typically installed after feed devices such as belt conveyors or vibratory conveyors.
